Phoenix House is a leading non-profit treatment center who provides individualized, holistic drug and alcohol addiction treatment with over 130 programs across ten states. As we embark on our 50 year anniversary, we are committed to treating the whole person — and their families — with caring, qualified professionals through evidence-based care to teens, adults, and families.

We are currently seeking a per diem licensed counselor at our Austin location. The counselor works directly with the clients to deliver Therapeutic Community programming, model positive behavior, maintain clinical records according to licensing and Department guidelines, and work with the rest of the treatment team to maintain a safe, respectful, trauma-informed therapeutic community within the facility.

Requirements:

We are currently seeking an experienced / qualified Master’s Degree Level Counselor to join our team.

Education/Credentials:

•Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's degree preferred

•All applicants must have a current valid license to provide counseling and/or substance abuse services with the state of Texas: LMSW/LCSW.

•Valid Texas driver’s license
