Phoenix House Outpatient Services in Brandon provides customized outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) drug and alcohol rehabilitation for adults and teens with substance abuse problems. Services include immediate assessments, drug testing, office-based detoxification, and referrals to residential care as warranted. Phoenix House’s Citra Center, located in the rolling hills of Marion County, offers Adult Residential Services in separate units for men and women. In addition, office-based detoxification for prescription and opiate drug abuse is available. A separate program, our Probation and Restitution Center, provides education and life-skills training for men re-entering the community
We are seeking a fulltime Assessment Manager to be responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of Assessment and Utilization Management functions to ensure appropriate treatment and level of care recommendations are being scheduled within 24 hours. The Assessment Manager will coordinate with the medical department and staff to ensure clients are medically appropriate prior to admission and that authorizations for treatment services are obtained, in-place and are consistent with insurance contracts.. The Assessment Manager be responsivle for complete level of care assessments which include : Comprehensive Intake Assessment; 12 panel UDS and 80 hour ETG alcohol dip; Review of clinical documentation from prior providers when available and appropriate; obtain necessary collateral information from other providers/ family members when available and appropriate; vitals; obtain necessary ROI’s (family, other providers, probation officers etc).
