Director of Continuous Quality Improvement reports to the SVP, Director of Risk Management. Position is responsible for providing leadership and direction in developing, implementing, evaluating and sustaining performance improvement initiatives, and incident review processes. Leads the development, implementation and monitoring of the Phoenix House strategic Quality Pillar.


•Develops, implements, evaluates and sustains performance improvement initiatives and incident management processes in coordination with regional quality assurance staff and other partners

•Develops, implements and evaluates best practices to assure continuous quality improvement and compliance with guidelines established by licensing, regulatory and accreditation agencies.

•Collaborates with regional clinical leadership to design and develop PI and CQI activities

•Researches and disseminates information on quality of care, performance improvement, and outcomes measurement

•Monitors quality of care metrics, including completion rates, service delivery, consumer satisfaction and reportable incidents



•Master’s Degree in Social Work or Nursing

•Current NYS License


•Minimum five (5) years experience working a licensed health care delivery organization

•Minimum three (3) years experience working in the field of continuous quality improvement


•Strong verbal and written communication skills; solid presentation skills

•Familiarity with regulations governing Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services
