Under the supervision of the clinical staff, carries out activities that will support resident’s goal attainment through natural interactions within the milieu.
•Participates in the treatment planning process and remain aware of treatment goals of resident
•Supervise peer groups facilitated by residents
•Facilitate interactions with residents within the milieu to build social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
•Ensures that clients adhere to the day-to-day program schedule, tracking attendance as required.
•Conducts routine facility checks to ensure facility safety and security.
•Conducts contraband searches and drug screen analysis administration in accordance with policies and procedures.
•Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor – Trainee (CASAC-T) in good standing
• Minimum one (1) year experience working with substance abuse population preferred
