Phoenix House of California is currently hiring a QA Specialist. Responsibilities include the monitoring of clinical services to assure minimum quality assurance and continuous quality improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Responsible for the review and content compliance of any and all documentation submitted to the Mental Health client record, including (but not limited to), Intake documents, Assessments, Client Treatment Plans, Progress Notes, Change of Diagnoses, Outcome Measures, medication support/psychiatric documents, and correspondence.

•Provides new-hire training on the required content of DMH documentation, billing procedures, direct service delivery practices, client care, effective time-management, and quality assurance systems of training and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

•Master’s of Arts/Science (M.A./M.S.) Degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Counseling OR Doctorate (Ph.D./Psy.D.) Degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.

•Active, current and clear registration/license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and/or California Board of Psychology.

EXPERIENCE:

•Experience as a service delivery staff within contracted and/or directly-operated Department of Mental Health programs that serve high-risk children, adolescents, adults and/or families within the Wraparound, Mental Health, Educational, Child Welfare and/or Juvenile Probation systems preferred.

•Experience with reviewing/overseeing Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health billing, documentation, client records, quality assurance, policy and procedures, and training protocols.
