The Wraparound Clinician provides therapeutic services under clinical supervision; assessment and treatment planning; case management and client advocacy; and crisis intervention/management to clients in the Wraparound Program. Coordinates services with the Child and Family Team in accordance with their specific therapeutic needs. Responsible for a caseload of ten to twelve slots. Upholds regulations established by the Department of Mental Health and Department of Children and Family Services in Los Angeles County. Aligning services with the vision and shared values of Phoenix House.
•Provides trauma responsive direct clinical and related therapeutic services (individual and family therapy; collateral sessions) to clients and/or their families using a team and community-based approach.
•Provides clinical guidance to the Child and Family Team when necessary.
•Assesses and documents the needs and symptoms of clients and/or families, formulating psychosocial diagnosis, gathering history, and determining the most appropriate method(s) of providing treatment.
•Participates in Child and Family Team Meetings to continually formulate a psychosocial diagnosis and update treatment plans in support of client’s therapeutic needs.
•Ensure 24-hour availability and crisis intervention on an as needed basis. Participate in the development of appropriate crisis plans.
•Responsible for timely and accurate documentation of client notes, assessments, treatment plans, outcome measures, and other documentation related to the treatment and progress of clients in the program per contractual standards. Documentation may include web-based, electronic and/or paper documents.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
•MFTI or ASW with current California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Registration required.
•LMFT or LCSW highly preferred (must maintain licensure as a condition of employment).
•Prior experience performing Wraparound model of care is preferred.
•Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
•Must possess and maintain a valid California Drivers license and a driving record that allows for operation of company vehicles.
•Must have a personal vehicle to operate while on shift to transport clients.
•Must meet federal, state and local Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Indexing requirements.
