Work in collaboration with the Social Worker Case Manager and develop, maintains the client’s treatment plan. S/He advocates recovery by serving as a personal guide/mentor for people seeking or in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction and helping to remove barriers and obstacles to recovery. The Recovery Coach also plans, implements and coordinates an array of comprehensive, individualized services for program participants and performs administrative work in support of the program.

Minimum Education/Experience:

•AA or higher degree in Behavioral Science (highly desired)

•High school diploma or equivalence (required)

•2-3 years progressive experience providing or coordinating social services, preferably within a drug or alcohol treatment setting or transitional housing environment

•Certified Substance Abuse Counselor

•At least 24 months experience working with adults
