Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Recovery Support Specialist will provide the operational support to facilitate the delivery of optimal clinical services to clients. The Recovery Support Specialist will Assist residents with day to day needs such as ensuring treatment schedule is being followed, help out with monitoring children as needed, ensuring a safe unit, provide crisis de-escalation when needed, monitor who is coming in and out of program. Perform program rounds and facility checks

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

•High School degree

EXPERIENCE:

•Two (2) years of Substance Abuse and/or mental health experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

•Knowledge of issues related to homeless women struggling with substance abuse with their children. Prior residential experience, excellent customer service skills

•Perform security and maintenance tasks as directed.

•Complete required documentation and records.

•Ability to effectively and accurately monitor resident’s medications and provide adequate medication documentation

•This job is part time only.
