The Nurse Manager is responsible for minor medical care and supervision of adolescent clients in residential facility. The position provides minor medical care and referrals to adolescent clients, supervises clients in the self-administration of medication and documents appropriately, as trained and assigned. The position will monitor and audit medication supplies, both prescribed and over the counter medication and supervise and ensure all documentation is completed, filed, audited, and submitted as required. They will also provide training on health topics to non-medical staff and client education on health topics and will work closely with psychiatrist to ensure appropriate psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and follow up is provided while in treatment.



  • RN license by the state of Texas


  • Minimum Two (2) Nursing experience, with at least one year experience in mental health or pediatric nursing

  • Minimum One (1) year supervisory experience


  • Strong organizational skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Good computer skills

  • Valid Texas driver’s license.
