We are looking for a licensed counselor for our PROS program to provide high quality care to our clients under supervision and standards mandated by the Office of Mental Health and other regulatory agencies. The role includes conducting mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating groups and workshops, making treatment sessions, and leading individual therapy sessions.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position requires 20% travel.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Masters Degree

  • LCSW or LMHC in good standing in NY state

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior work history treating patients with mental health issues and substance use disorders

  • Familiar working with the DSM-5

  • Experience documenting in an Electronic Health Record system

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Crisis De-escalation skills

  • Knowledgeable of Office of Mental Health regulations

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Computer literacy
