TheLicensed Clinicianwill handle a caseload and deliver all treatment components to assigned clients. S/he will develop and revise individual treatment plans, assess client progress, provide individual and group counseling, and assign job functions. The clinician will facilitate peer support groups, deliver workshops & seminars (developing new topics, as needed in consultation with the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator), and provide & supervise recreational programming, etc.

    REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work

  • Valid NYS License (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two (2) years’ relevant experience, required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of DSM5

  • Ability to treatment plan and conduct assessments

  • Working EMR experience

  • Practical use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Sharepoint, MS OneNote

  • Knowledge of RightFax helpful
