We are looking for a dynamic licensed clinician to work as the Clinical Director, reporting to the Campus Director, for a large residential treatment program located in Long Island City, New York. As the Clinical Director, you will manage the day to day clinical operations of the program. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone comfortable working in a fast-paced residential treatment facility that is transitioning to providing a full continuum of clinical treatment to our patients.

The Clinical Director is responsible for:

  • Supervision, development and management ofdirectclinicaland clinical supervisorystaff

  • Oversight and development of residential support, administrative, and contracted medical staff

  • Direct clinical services (i.e., crisis intervention/de-escalation, assessment, counseling, family therapy, referrals and discharge planning) to residents as needed

  • Reviewing and approve all facets of discharge planning

  • Ensuring that treatment operations meet clinical regulations and comply with Medicaid and other reimbursement standards

  • Collaborating with Learning and Development and Clinical leadership to ensure delivery of evidence-based clinical services (CBT, MI, trauma-informed)

  • Building collaborative and clinically effective treatment teams for each floor of the facility

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health or related field

  • License issued by NYS in good standing

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three years clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with OASAS regulations

  • Computer literacy
