We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our clients with their taste and timely delivery. The excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized and has strong multitasking abilities. They should be committed to learning and complying with health care standards of food preparation.


  • Prepare, cook and plate food accurately, maintaining high quality standards. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. Prepare and plate food accordingly. Manage food/supplies inventory Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen Keep work station and kitchen clean at all times (appliances, surfaces, floor etc.).


  • Culinary degree highly desirable

  • Cooking experience at Skilled Facility is a plus!

  • Must be service and safety oriented and possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, common sense. Ability to interact effectively with all staff and resident in a professional manner

  • Cooperative with positive attitude


  • High school or equivalent (Required) and NYC Health Card


  • 2 years of professional cooking experience preferred


  • Certificate: NYC Department Of Health Food Handlers Card
