  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, budget, and timeline and directs the requisition workflow, approvals, and processes.

  • Using effective and cost efficient methods to attract and retain employees, the recruiter will use traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. In addition, develop relationships with colleges / universities for job or internship placements.

  • Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, make recommendations for hire (or not hire), handle any pre-adverse or adverse action notifications and if necessary, present to the Board of Directors.

  • Manage the internal Job Posting and Internal Candidate Application Processes.

  • Work with Program Directors to deliver New Hire Orientation.

    • Administer FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, Leave of Absence, employee changes, and if applicable, health, welfare, and benefit plans

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in human resources or business

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.


  • Minimum one year recruiting experience or two years as a Recruiting Coordinator

  • Minimum two years working in a human resources department as coordinator or generalist

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferre


  • Practical knowledge and experience working with ADP Workforce Now, or other comparable software and ATS systems such as (e.g. Ceridian, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.)

  • Experience working in Resource Navigation or other comparable system to ensure FTEs are correctly assigned and aligned.

  • Strong / Intermediate level MS Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred


Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
