The Data Entry/Medi-Cal Biller is responsible for data entry and Medi-Cal billing systems In Residential and Outpatient programs. Lead and direct the overall management, organization, strategy, and operations of the data entry and Medi-Cal billing systems on the Orange County Campus. Reviews benefits of clients receiving substance abuse treatment. Enter all required data into county systems in order to maintain program compliance. Complete monthly reporting processes to be both timely and accurately. Ensure all billing is completed by the monthly deadline and is reconciled with the services provided. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.



  • High School Diploma Required

  • Bachelors in Business, Social Services, Psychology preferred


  • 2 years data entry.

  • Medi-Cal billing and IRIS experience preferred


  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and exercises independent judgment and leadership, analyzes situations accurately, and communicate effectively.

  • Ability to write clear and concise reports that utilizes data.Must show aptitude for service and for working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Computer literate; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize electronic health record management system

  • Strong organizational skills.
